Happy Birthday to my Best Friend

So Paul had a birthday on Friday. If I were more on top of things, then I would have posted on that day. I think the day and weekend went the way he wanted and that makes me happy. He spent the day with Dixie and then we had some pizza for dinner. Afterwards we played a few games. Then he was off to work. Saturday he came home and we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast with Grandma, Grandpa, Bill, Melanie and their kids. It was delish as always (with the exception of the grits...I make them better ;)). After that we dropped Paul off to get some sleep before the big game day. We had a few friends over, dropped Dixie off at her cousins, and played games all afternoon and into the evening. It was a lot of fun. I'm so grateful to be married to such a wonderful person. So once again...Happy Birthday Paul!

January So Far

The new year has been going great for us so far. We had such a great visit with Jackson and Dixie still calls for him in the morning along with Mommy and Daddy. But we'll see him soon enough and are excited for his experience to live in Brazil.
There have been a lot of holidays it seems and so I have gotten to stay home on some Mondays. That has been a lot fun for us to spend the day together as a family. We've changed to 9am church and let me tell you...it is great. We get home at 12pm, feed Dixie and put her to bed. I love it. Plus I get my meetings out of the way right after church too.
The baby will be here in 3 months and we are so excited to meet little Gracie. Dixie has such a strong personality, we are curious what Grace will be like. She moves and kicks a lot. Which reminds me of Dixie...sooooo I'm thinking she could be just as active and independent. We're so excited to meet her and have her in our family.
My camera is still missing...so therefore I have nothing to post picture wise. We hope everyone else is doing great.
